He organized humanitarian aid projects for children in East Timor, Brazil and Kenya. When speaking to groups of children, he tried to convince them that learning is not just for "nerds" and "geeks". He propagated “peaceful parenting” - a term he coined himself - in which parents raise their children lovingly and do not allow them to be exposed to violent situations, not even in films, television programs or computer games. He founded International Youth Advocates, an organization that promotes peace and understanding among young people in the world. In 2015 he received his PhD in biology from CMU and then took on a post-doc position at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Shortly after, he enrolled at the Carnegie Mellon University into the Faculty of Biology.
