Land in Bretonnia asap - I managed turn 12-13, then after the Skullsmashers beat up Loeun's army I took the city itself on Turn 14.The first battle is tough, but you win and confederate and then rush to get a full stack together.That is largely due to me being proactive in removing the Ordertide and being able to choose my wars due to nobody besides Karak Ziflin picking a fight with me - not Rank 1 K-a-K or the Elves. Potentially an odd choice, but I really really enjoyed my World Walkers campaign. Imrik in ME - yeah yeah his start is hard, and climate-wise that part of the map is messy, but the dragon hunts are a thrill, the bonuses & items he gets from them are great, a dragon/princes + heroes & some archers army is crazy fun. Then late-game with Treemen (which is not late because you get Treemen at Tier 3) they are just insane, even before you get the amber tech that turns every. Coeddil is super powerful, Durthu in the Forgotten Office is completely broken, your Ancient Treemen & Branchwraiths get lore-flavoured bonuses (regen from life obviously being incredible), you get a fast and suprisingly powerful array of beasties. Repanse or Arkhan? Maybe Imrik? It's a short campaign (50 turns and 2 evenings) making very enjoyable use of some Skaven units I'd not quite given a chance to shine before.ĭrycha - hooo boy is a full "no elves allowed" campaign fun.
